Homeopathy
Homeopathy has been established for over 200 years, and is practised by professional homeopaths and conventional doctors, some of whom work in the five permanent homeopathic hospitals in the U.K.
Homeopathy involves prescribing a patient a highly dilute dose of a substance, which in a larger quantity would cause the symptoms it is trying to cure. However, in a diluted homeopathic form, it is said to stimulate the the body's own healing mechanism into a curative response.
There are over three thousand homeopathic remedies derived from plants, minerals, body tissue, and other natural substances. A detailed case history allows me to select the most appropriate remedies in your case. Homeopathic remedies do not cause side effects and you cannot become addicted to them. The remedies are taken in dissolvable tablet form and are suitable for infants, as well as children and adults.
I provide homeopathic remedies alongside acupuncture treatment and these are included in the my fees. There are no known side effects from these remedies and as they may be helpful, I am happy to provide them as a further support to treatment, although there is no accepted scientific research that homeopathy helps in treatment alongside IVF.
